Muslim plants a tree, whatever is eaten from it is charity from him

Hadith of the day

Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a Muslim plants a tree, whatever is eaten from it is charity from him and whatever is stolen is charity and whatever is subtracted from it is charity".
Another narration says: "If a Muslim plants a tree, or sows a field and men and beasts and birds eat from it, all of it is charity from him".
[Muslim, riyad as-salihin n°135]

In Islam, planting a tree is seen as an act of charity (sadaqah). There is a well-known hadith where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

"If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (sadaqah) for him."
— (Sahih al-Bukhari, 2320)

This highlights the importance of contributing to the environment and benefiting others through such acts.
