Hadith of the day
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Nothing will be heavier on the Day of Resurrection in the Scale of the believer than good manners. Allah hates one who utters foul or coarse language."
[At- Tirmidhi 2002, authenticated by shaykh Al-Albaanee]
This hadith emphasizes the immense value of good manners and ethical conduct in Islam. On the Day of Resurrection, when deeds are weighed, good manners will be the heaviest on the scale of a believer. This highlights that character and how we treat others hold significant weight in the sight of Allah.
The second part of the hadith reminds us that Allah dislikes those who engage in foul or coarse language, indicating that a believer's speech should be pure, respectful, and free from harmful or offensive words. Maintaining good manners, both in action and speech, is a cornerstone of Islamic teachings and a sign of true faith.
