Jab aap unke Amaal ko dikhte hain, toh aapko Aakhirat ki Yaad aati hai

Who is a good friend in Islam?

A good friend according to Islam is one who helps you in remembering God and following His prescribed path. The speech of a good friend increases your knowledge and his actions motivate you in right direction for this world and that hereafter.

What Allah says about friendship?

The warmth and joy of friendship is one of the most enviable things one can hope for. If life was a garden then friends are its flowers. But who should I befriend? The Quran replies, “Believers, always be conscious of Allah and befriend the truthful” (Surah Tawbah: 119).

What does Islam say about choosing a good friend?

Befriending righteous and virtuous Muslims is a necessary means for staying on the Straight Path. In an authentic Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend." [reported by Abu Dawood & Tirmidhee].

Abu Musa (R.A.) se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihay Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Nek Saathi (Dost) aur Burey Saathi (Dost) ki Misaal mushk bechney waley Attar aur Lohar jaisee hai, Mushk Bechney waley ke paas se tum do achchaeeyon me se ek na ek zaroor pa loge. ya fou Mushk hi kharid loge ya kum se kum Mushk ki khushbu fou zarur pa logey. Lekin Lohar ki bhatti tumharey badan ya kapdey ko jhulsa degi ya uski tum badbu pa logey."

Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, 2101

Lihaza aise logo se dosti rakha karo jo tumhare emaan ki doulat me ijafa karwa de aur aise logon se kinara karlo jiska sath tumhe neki aur parhezgaari se gafil kar de.

Aadmi apne Dost ke deen pe chalta hai

Allah ke Rasool (ﷺ) ne farmaya:

"Aadmi apne Dost ke deen par hota hai.

Lihaja tum me se har shakhs ko ye dekhna chahiye ke wo kis se dosti kar raha hai."
